Leona Lewis’ cover on Snow Patrol’s song Run became the fastest-selling digital download ever. It was bought and downloaded 69,244 times in the two first day it was released. Previous record belonged to Estelle and Kanye West – their track American Boy was sold 51,857 copies in a week.
Leona Lewis, the former X-Factor winner, premiered Run cover last year on BBC Radio Live and recorded it in studio this year.
Leona Lewis’ debut album Spirit was released in 2007. She is going to release new single I Will Be in 2009.
