Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones will perform together with Sonic Youth at the upcoming show Merce Cunningham At 90. It will take place next April. Other Led Zeppelin members may also join the event.
This show will be dedicated to the 90th anniversary of famous British choreographer Merce Cunningham. It is not the first time famous bands collaborate because of Cunningham – Radiohead and Sigur Ros performed together on his Split Sides show in 2003.
Previously, Led Zeppelin announced that they would go on a world tour, but without Robert Plant. It is rumored that his place may be taken by Aerosmith's Steven Tyler or Alterbridge frontman Myles Kennedy.
